Highwater Detox is a private, 12-bed, co-ed inpatient detox and residential rehab center in Granada Hills, near Los Angeles, California. In our co-ed rehab program, men and women receive treatment in the same facility and take part in many therapeutic activities together. Our co-ed setting is carefully structured and supervised by clinical staff 24 hours a day, so every patient can focus on recovery in an environment that feels safe, respectful, and supportive.

Treatment in Our Co-ed Program

Every patient in our co-ed program receives an individualized treatment plan. Care typically begins with medically supervised detox, which usually lasts 5 to 11 days, followed by residential rehab in 7, 30, 60, or 90-day programs. Treatment plans draw on evidence-based services, including individual therapy, group therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), addiction counseling, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) when clinically appropriate.

While patients share group sessions and daily activities, individual therapy ensures that each person has private time to work on their own history, challenges, and goals. This balance between community and individual attention is one of the strengths of our program. Patients benefit from the support of peers while still receiving care that is fully tailored to them.
